All Remsa Premium pads have been manufactured under HPT (High Pressure Treatment) which involves extreme heat (electrical heated steel table system at 650c) and pressure to scorch the pads surface (1-2mm deep). As a result, HPT increases pads’ bedding-ability (shorter bedding-in period) and brake operation efficiency. HPT process also avoid crystallisation process of pads typical materials losing braking performance along the useful product life.
